1. General Information

This Legal Notice governs the use of services provided by Wardy's WaterWorks Pty Ltd (“the Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) in the State of Queensland, Australia. By engaging our plumbing services, you (“the Client” or “you”) agree to the terms outlined in this notice.


2. Licensing and Compliance

The Company is duly licensed and operates in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations in Queensland, including requirements set by the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC). All plumbing work is carried out by appropriately licensed and qualified personnel.


3. Scope of Services

Our services include, but are not limited to:

  • General plumbing maintenance and repairs
  • Installation of plumbing systems and fixtures
  • Emergency plumbing services
  • Drainage and gas fitting (where appropriately licensed)

All work will be performed with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with industry standards.


4. Quotes and Pricing

  • All quotes are valid for the period specified in the quote.
  • Prices may vary if unforeseen issues arise during the course of work.
  • Any additional costs will be communicated and require Client approval before proceeding.

5. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Late payments may incur interest and/or debt recovery costs.
  • The Company reserves the right to suspend or refuse services where invoices remain unpaid.

6. Warranties

  • Workmanship is guaranteed in accordance with applicable statutory warranty periods under Queensland law.
  • Manufacturer warranties apply to materials and fixtures supplied where applicable.
  • Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, fair wear and tear, or external factors beyond our control.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Liability is limited to the re-supply of services or rectification of defective work.
  • The Company is not responsible for pre-existing conditions or latent defects not reasonably identifiable prior to commencement of work.

8. Access and Safety

The Client must provide safe, clear, and reasonable access to the work site. The Company reserves the right to refuse or cease work if unsafe conditions are identified.


9. Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be made with reasonable notice.
  • A cancellation fee may apply for late cancellations or missed appointments.

10. Privacy

Any personal information collected will be handled in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws and used solely for service delivery, billing, and communication purposes.


11. Governing Law

This Legal Notice is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from services provided shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.


12. Amendments

The Company reserves the right to update or modify this Legal Notice at any time. The most current version will apply to all services provided.

Warranty Terms & Conditions

 1. Inspection Requirement

All warranty claims are subject to a site inspection by Wardy’s WaterWorks Pty Ltd during standard business hours (Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 4:00pm).

 2. Installation-Related Issues

If the inspection determines that the issue is due to an installation fault by Wardy’s WaterWorks Pty Ltd, the rectification work will be completed at no additional cost to the client during standard business hours.

 3. Non-Installation Issues

If the issue is found to be caused by any of the following, service fees will apply at a rate of $132+GST per hour (including call-out and labour):

 • Fair wear and tear

 • Misuse or damage caused by others

 • Product or material defect

 • Environmental or site conditions beyond our control

 4. Product Defects

If a product or material defect is identified, Wardy’s WaterWorks Pty Ltd will either:

 • Lodge a manufacturer warranty claim on behalf of the client, or

 • Provide the client with the manufacturer’s contact details and guidance to submit the claim directly.

 5. Exclusions

Warranty claims will not be accepted where work has been altered, tampered with, or repaired by another party without prior written consent from Wardy’s WaterWorks Pty Ltd.

 6. Access Requirements

The client must provide safe and reasonable access to the work area for inspection and rectification. Failure to do so may delay or void the claim.
